Part of the Environmental and Ecocritical Cinema Series
For Michaelmas Term 24/25, the LMH Foreign Film Club invites you for a series of screenings on the topic of ‘Environmental and Ecocritical Cinema’. Particularly in eco-cinema and environmental approaches, films emphasise the relationship between humans, nature, and the broader ecological context, showcasing how cinematic narratives can reveal the interconnected threads of existence and environmental issues.
Week 3: Pokot [The Trail] (2017, eco-thriller, Poland)
Join us to watch a film adaptation of the novel Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead (shortlisted for the International Booker Prize).
