Payments and Deadlines

Fees

Course fees are added to students’ battels (college) accounts at the start of the academic year in mid-September. If you are a new student at LMH, you will receive an invoice by email; returning students will have their fees appear on their battels accounts. If you require a copy of the course fee invoice please request via: student.finance@lmh.ox.ac.uk. 

Fees are due in full by Friday of 1st Week of Michaelmas Term. If you are in receipt of a Postgraduate governmental student loan, you can pay in 3 equal termly instalments due by Wednesday of 1st week of each term. 

Payment of fees is the responsibility of the student, regardless of who actually pays them, and failure to pay may result in suspension by the University.

Full course fees payable for the 2026/27 academic year should be paid by 16th October 2026.

Accommodation

Payment deadlines for accommodation are as follows:

Graduate, Undergraduate and Visiting Students

Termly accommodation charges are due on Wednesday of 1st Week of every term. For 2026/27 these dates are:

• 14th October 2026
• 20th January 2027
• 28th April 2027

Graduate Summer Extensions

• 16th June 2027

Vacation Residence

In advance of the 1st night of the vacation residence.

Battels

All other battels dated before Wednesday of 1st Week are payable by that date. Battels incurred during term are payable by Wednesday of 8th Week. 

How to Pay

LMH offers several ways to make payment of your battels, fees and accommodation. All payments go to the same bank account and should be referenced with your unique battels reference number for ease of identification (this number can be found on the fees invoice or on your battels account and starts with the letter S). You can pay in the following ways:

• Flywire: We have partnered with Flywire to accept payments from UK and international students worldwide. Through Flywire, you can easily and securely make education payments in your own currency, using local payment methods from the safety and convenience of your home. • Bank Transfer: The bank details can be found on the LMH Intranet Battels page (log in using your SSO). Please use your battels account number as the payment reference.
• Debit Card: We accept debit card payments in the Accounts office during opening hours.

Refunds at the end of your course

Any credit balance remaining on your account at the end of your course can be reclaimed by contacting the Student Finance Officer on: student.finance@lmh.ox.ac.uk. Any balances that have not been claimed within one year will be transferred to the College's Development Office as a donation to the College.

How do I get the remaining balance off my UPAY account?

Before you leave College at the end of your course you need to close your UPAY account and all the remaining funds will be transferred back to your bank account.
