Dr Udit Bhatia, Lecturer in Politics at Lady Margaret Hall, has been nominated as an 'Outstanding Tutor' 2019 by students at the University of Oxford.

The Oxford Student Union 'acknowledges the University's lecturers and staff members who stand out from the rest and inspire, challenge and engage their students'.

'It is an honour to be nominated for the Outstanding Tutor award by OUSU,' said Dr Bhatia. 'I would like to take this opportunity to thank my students, who make teaching at Lady Margaret Hall a pleasure. Their intellectual curiosity and tough questions ensure that I continue to learn with them as we collectively think through some of the most complex political issues facing us today.'

Dr Bhatia, who is also a Junior Research Fellow at Jesus College, will attend the ceremony on 9 May at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
