All are welcome to join us for this term's Law Enrichment Talk, which will feature Lord Collins of Mapesbury in conversation with LMH Law Fellow Dr Roxana Banu. This will be followed by the opportunity for members of the audience to ask questions.
An Arbitrator at 24 Lincoln's Inn Fields and former Justice of the UK Supreme Court, Lawrence Collins (Lord Collins of Mapesbury) has been a full-time international arbitrator since 2011, specialising in investor-state and international commercial arbitrations. Prior to this, Lord Collins enjoyed a long career in international litigation and arbitration, including 11 years as a judge dealing with many cases in those fields. He has sat as Presiding, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator in ICSID, ICC, LCIA, PCA, Cairo Centre, and in ad hoc UNCITRAL arbitrations. His cases include seats in Washington DC, London, Florida, The Hague, Geneva, Paris, Zurich, Singapore, Mumbai, and Cairo.
The talk will take place from 11am - 12 noon and will be followed by drinks.
