Studied at home: Philosophy

Visiting Lady Margaret Hall was fantastic!  I am a student at American University in Washington, D.C. studying philosophy and I studied at Oxford my junior year under the tuition of Christopher Shields.  My research at Oxford focused primarily on Kant's transcendental idealism, Heidegger's Being and Time, and on liberal political theory and its 'communitarian' critique.  I also spent some time researching Aristotelian metaphysics, as well as the foundations of contemporary Analytic Philosophy.

My year at LMH increased my research, writing, and critical thinking abilities tenfold and prepared me for graduate level work.
