Two LMH Maths students were recognised at this year’s Annual Mathematical Institute Celebration for ‘outstanding performance' in their examinations. Thomas Johnston (4th year) was awarded the IMA prize for Part B, while William Hart (3rd year) was awarded the Gibbs Prize for FHS Mathematics Part A. The College’s Maths tutors are really delighted for Tom and Will and proud of their brilliant achievements.

LMH Statistics Fellow Prof Christina Goldschmidt has also been recognised by the Mathematical Institute this month. She is the recipient of a Departmental Teaching Award in recognition of the “excellent feedback received from the students” and for her “valued contribution to undergraduate teaching".

Many congratulations to Thomas, William and Prof Goldschmidt on their awards!
