Alan Rusbridger, LMH Principal, and first year student, Emerald Ace-Acquah, appeared on BBC South Today on Friday evening describing what life is like at the College during the pandemic, the measures we have taken and the student experience.
The short film features the new way the Principal is meeting students during Covid. He usually meets new students face to face and was keen to continue the tradition instead of moving them online. To ensure maximum safety he set up a small marquee in the Lodging’s garden along with a fire pit for warmth and chairs at 2 metres apart. He has met hundreds of new students so far and it’s here to stay for the whole term so meetings can continue outside.
