Hunada Nouss, who was a PPE student at LMH from 1977-1980, has been celebrated in the 2021 New Year’s Honours List.
The award was in recognition of her public service, in particular her work for education in her Board and committee roles with the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s (ESFA), the Department for Education, and City, University of London.
She said: “I was surprised and delighted to be awarded an OBE in the New Years Honours list. I am humbled by the recognition and grateful for this touch of good fortune in these unsettled times. I pay tribute to all those who work tirelessly across the public sector, particularly at this critical time and would like to take this opportunity to thank my dedicated Board colleagues and all those I have worked with over the years for their support.”
Hunada is currently a Non-Executive Director for a number of organisations, both public and private sector.
