The LMH Epexio Archives catalogue has been launched. This new online catalogue will allow researchers to access key collection catalogues and lists. The site also allows the hosting of digitised material such as recordings of reminiscences, early articles from The Brown Book and newspaper cuttings.
Our historic collections are a unique resource. They include the correspondence of suffragist Dame Kathleen Courtney [ LMH 1897], the student sketches made by Eglantyne Jebb the founder of Save The Children [LMH 1895], the letters between historian Mary Coate and the family of Elisabeth de Gaulle [ LMH 1942], the unpublished memoirs of German Tutor Helena Deneke [ LMH 1913-1938], and the personal papers of the first LMH Principal Elizabeth Wordsworth.
The papers held by LMH are continually being listed and prepared for cataloguing. The new archive catalogue will allow us to flag up key collections and summarise holdings of papers before full cataloguing has been completed.
The Featured Items Page allows us to group records by subject area as well as highlight key personal papers. Please do have a look at the catalogue and, if some materials pique your interest, do drop the LMH Archivist Ollie a message at archivist@lmh.ox.ac.uk.
