LMH is pleased to host the Oxford Writers' House for an In Conversation with acclaimed Canadian author Iain Reid.
Beginning his career as a columnist and memoirist, Iain gained international recognition with his debut novel I’m Thinking of Ending Things (2016), which was later adapted into a Netflix film by Academy Award-winner Charlie Kaufman. His second novel, Foe (2018), a blend of psychological thriller and science fiction, was adapted into a 2023 feature film starring Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal. His most recent novel, We Spread (2022), which was originally written as a screenplay before being adapted as a novel, was shortlisted for the 2023 Governor General’s Award and is currently being developed for film with director Minhal Baig.
Oxford Writers’ House is a community hub founded in 2016 to connect, inspire, and amplify the voices of Oxfordshire’s diverse writing communities.
