New Approaches to Old Places - Dr Helen Gittos, Colyer-Fergusson Fellow and Tutor in Early Medieval History, Balliol College
Dr Gittos is an expert on liturgy, ritual, and archaeology in early medieval Britain. Her recent publications challenge long-held assumptions about major Anglo-Saxon sites, such as Sutton Hoo and Cerne Abbas, revealing new insight in to their significance.
In this conversation, Dr Gittos will discuss how interdisciplinary research and collaboration has shaped her career, reflecting on ways in which academics can share their groundbreaking work with a wide public audience.
