Biography

I did my BA in Classics and Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, followed by an MSc in Logic at the University of Amsterdam. I’m now in my third year of a DPhil in Philosophy at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Professor Alex Paseau. My DPhil is funded by a Magdalen College Graduate Scholarship.

Research interests

I’m interested in the philosophy of logic, the philosophy of mathematics, epistemology and the philosophy of mind. Currently, my research focuses on explaining the epistemic status of logical truths and logically valid inferences.

Teaching

This year, I’ll be teaching FHS Philosophy of Mathematics, FHS Knowledge and Reality, and Prelims Introduction to Logic (and perhaps others). I’ve also taught Practical Ethics, Philosophical Topics in Logic and Probability, and Philosophical Logic in the past.
