Key Payments and Deadlines
Fees
Course fees are added to students’ battels (college) accounts at the start of the academic year in mid-September. If you are a new student at LMH, you will receive an invoice by email; returning students will have their fees appear on their battels accounts. If you require copy of the course fee invoice please request via: student.finance@lmh.ox.ac.uk.
Fees are due in full by Friday of 1st week of Michaelmas term. If you are in receipt of a Postgraduate governmental student loan, you can pay in 3 equal termly instalments due by Wednesday of 1st week of each term.
Payment of Fees is the responsibility of the student regardless of who actually pays the fees and failure to pay may result in you being suspended by the University.
Full course fees payable for the 2025/26 academic year should be paid by 17th October 2025.
Accommodation
Payment deadlines for accommodation are as follows:
Graduate, Undergraduate and Visiting Students
Termly accommodation charges for both graduates and undergraduates are due on Wednesday of 1st week of every term. For 2025/26 these dates are:
- 15th October 2025
- 21st January 2026
- 29th April 2026
Graduate Summer Extensions
- 17th June 2026
Vacation Residence
In advance of the 1st night of the vacation residence.
Battels
All other battels are due by Wednesday of 1st week if they are dated prior to this date, and Wednesday of 8th week if they are incurred during the term.
How to Pay
LMH offers a number of ways to make payment of your battels, fees and accommodation. All payments go to the same bank account and should be referenced with your unique battels reference number for ease of identification (this number can be found on the fees invoice or on your battels account and starts with letter S). You can pay in the following ways:

- Bank Transfer: The bank details can be found on the LMH Intranet Battels page (log in using your SSO). Please use your battels account number as payment reference.
- Debit Card: We accept debit card payment in the Accounts office during opening hours.
Refunds at the end of your course
All credit balances owing to students can be reclaimed at the end of your course by contacting the Student Finance Officer on: student.finance@lmh.ox.ac.uk. Any balances which have not been claimed after one year will be transferred to the College's Development Office as a donation to the College.
How do I get the remaining balance off my UPAY account?
Before you leave College at the end of your course you need to close your UPAY account and all the remaining funds will be transferred back to your bank account.
