Ann Kennedy with Fellow and Tutor in Law, Professor Alexandra Braun

We have launched a Graduate Scholarship in Law, named after former Law Tutor and Fellow, Ann Kennedy to raise an initial £200,000 towards an endowment which will fund a graduate scholarship of up to £7,000 per annum. Ann is synonymous with Law at LMH and a friend and mentor to generations, having taught over 300 students during her 33 years at LMH.

The Ann Kennedy Graduate Scholarship will make a contribution to the costs of an exceptional graduate and is in line with many scholarships offered by other Oxford colleges therefore ensuring we attract to LMH both the best internal and external candidates.

As we now have a terrific new Clore Graduate Centre and Donald Fothergill building, it is our intention to make LMH a college of first choice for graduate studies. The completion of these new buildings enables LMH to house many first year graduate students within College; the first cohort of graduates took up residence in September. To offer a truly attractive package for prospective graduates, and ensure that graduate studies are available to the brightest students, regardless of their background and financial position, substantial help through the provision of financial support through scholarships is now vitally important.

Make a gift

We hope that any former student of LMH who has either read Law or is now in Law will help us mark Ann's great contribution to Law at LMH and support future students by making a contribution to the Scholarship. Donations at all levels are most welcome and, to date, have helped us raise £120,000. If you have any questions about the Ann Kennedy Graduate Scholarship in Law or would like to discuss your donation, please contact Carrie Scott, Deputy Development Director.
