The LMH organ

The LMH organ was one of the final instruments to be voiced by Arthur Harrison, completed around the same time as Westminster Abbey and King’s College Cambridge. The organ is housed in a case designed by the chapel architect, Giles Gilbert Scott.  Apart from some tonal modifications in 1983, carried out under the direction of James Dalton, it remains in its 1934 state and is fine example of Harrison’s work. Despite its small specification, the organ’s varied colours resonate well in the fine chapel acoustic.
