Dr Higgins is the Tutor for Graduates and has oversight of all graduate students here at LMH.

Prior to joining LMH in 2018, Clare held roles in development and academic administration at the University of Oxford. Clare’s role as Deputy Academic Registrar within the College’s Academic Office is to provide support to the College’s graduate students. Clare is also responsible for on-course support for graduate students, including College Advisor arrangements, examination and assessment administration, GSO forms, event organisation, as well as providing general support and advice to the College’s graduate body. Clare works closely with the Tutor for Graduates, Dr Ben Higgins, in all of these aspects, and deputises for the Academic Registrar where necessary.

Dr Ben Higgins, Tutor for Graduates

Dr Ben Higgins has oversight of all graduate students at Lady Margaret Hall. He also has oversight of the graduate admissions process for the College. In this work he is supported by the Deputy Academic Registrar, Ms Clare Charlesworth, and the Admissions Manager, Christopher Pidgeon. Ben is a Career Development Fellow in English Literature who has worked at LMH since 2021.
