Join us for the 2026 Summer VIIIs Dinner & celebrate the 50th Anniversary of women rowing officially in Summer VIIIs
The LMHBC are delighted to invite friends of the Boat Club, past and present, to the 2026 Summer VIIIs Dinner on Saturday 30th May.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with current crews and alumni of the Club, and celebrate a great year of rowing. The evening will include speeches from our captains and LMHBC President Lucy Gibbons.
A drinks reception in the Gardens will be served from 7pm, followed by a three-course dinner in Hall at 8pm.
This year marks 50 years since women’s crews were allowed to compete in Summer Eights, and 50 years of LMH racing on the Isis. As one of the oldest women’s boat clubs at Oxford, founded in 1899, LMHBC has a remarkable legacy, and we hope you will join us for this special anniversary.
The cost for the event is £64 per person and you are welcome to bring a guest. Please book your place here before Sunday 10th May.
The dress code for the evening is Black Tie or Boat Club Blazers (if you own one).
