Film Screening and Q&A: 'Where do you call home?'

Join us for a special screening of ¿De qué casa eres?/ Where do you call home? (subtitled in English), a powerful documentary by Ana Pérez-Quiroga, followed by a Q&A with the director.

The film follows Angelita Pérez, one of nearly 3,000 Spanish children exiled to the Soviet Union during the Spanish Civil War. Sent away at the age of four, Angelita grew up in Russian boarding schools, remaining there until completing her medical studies in Moscow. Through a deeply personal lens, the documentary explores themes of resilience, identity, memory, and the enduring bond between mother and daughter.
