Portraits of LMH
First installed in 2018 as a collection of alumni portraits, the exhibition has become a familiar part of College life - a space where the history of LMH is present in the everyday movement through the building. It serves as a source of inspiration to students, staff and visitors alike.
As we approach the College’s 150th Anniversary in 2028-29, we are expanding the exhibition to include a broader range of individuals connected to LMH. This next stage reflects an intention to represent more fully the many different ways people contribute to the College community.
A living record of the College
As Portraits of LMH continues to evolve, we want it to reflect not only academic or professional achievements, but also impact in areas such as teaching, service, care, leadership and creativity, giving a rich and varied impression of the people who have passed through LMH over the years.
Each portrait will add to a collective record of LMH and its people - one that is still growing and being shaped.
Help shape the collection
We invite members of the LMH community to nominate individuals or groups for inclusion in the expanded exhibition. This is an opportunity to recognise those who have made a meaningful contribution to College life, or to the world outside our walls, in whatever form that may take.
Nominations are welcome for alumni, students, staff, fellows, and others connected to LMH.
All submissions will be reviewed by a curatorial panel drawn from across the College community, including Fellows, staff, students, and alumni. The panel will consider all submissions and decide which nominations are taken forward for inclusion in the exhibition.
