Isaac Hadfield

I am currently competing my DPhil in Philosophy at St. Anne's College, where I am a St. Anne's Ethics Scholar and Graduate Development Scholar. Prior to this, I completed my BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Trinity College Oxford, and my BPhil in Philosophy with the Mitchell Scholarship also at Trinity College.

Most of my research is at the intersection of ethics and social epistemology. My DPhil project concerns the normative demands on people to understand themselves, others, and the world around them, rather than, say, deferring to the testimony of others.

At LMH, I primarily teach papers within value theory in its broadest sense, such as FHS Ethics, Practical Ethics, and Aesthetics.
