Biography
I obtained an MChem from Somerville College, University of Oxford (2017-2021) before moving to New College for a DPhil in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry in the Mackenzie/Timmel/Hore group.
Research Interests
My DPhil research is concerned with the spin dynamics of proteins believed to be responsible for avian magnetoreception. I utilise a range of highly sensitive optical cavity techniques to probe the influence of magnetic fields on the photochemistry of these proteins.
Teaching
I teach the first year Mathematics for Chemistry course. I teach all the first years together in weekly classes based around the departmental problem sheets.
