On a day when graduations are taking place at LMH, an opportunity to remember the time when women were first allowed to participate in such ceremonies. In 1920, women finally became full members of the University. This photograph, taken from the unpublished memoir of Helena Deneke ( LMH Tutor of German 1913-1938), shows students walking to the Sheldonian Theatre before being presented their degrees.
