We were delighted to host over 350 guests at our annual Summer Garden Party on Saturday 27 June, as we marked the launch of our anniversary fundraising campaign, LMH150: Thinking for the Future.

Held in the College gardens, the event brought together friends of LMH for an afternoon of speeches, refreshments and entertainment, as well as the opportunity to watch the campaign launch video and speak to members of the Development team about making a donation.
It was a particular pleasure to welcome The Rt Hon Lord Hague of Richmond, Chancellor of the University of Oxford, and his wife, Dame Ffion Hague, to LMH. Guests heard from our Principal, Professor Christine Gerrard, and from Lord Hague, whose speech marked the official launch of the campaign.
Visitors also enjoyed afternoon tea, live music, a Library exhibition, garden games and crafting, as well as a programme of children’s activities including storytelling, face painting, a stilt walker, bubbles and a circus skills workshop. Throughout the afternoon, guests were able to visit the fundraising tent to learn more about the campaign and LMH’s plans for the future.
Our goal is ambitious: to raise LMH’s endowment to £100 million, giving us the long-term resilience to embrace new possibilities and respond to a changing world.
