LMH formal dinner
Can I dine in Hall?

The Senior Common Room is pleased to invite alumni to dine at High Table at a Guest Night once a year. Alumni may also bring one guest.

Guest Nights are held twice a week during term time: Tuesdays are Guest Nights (three courses) and Fridays are Special Guest Nights (four courses plus dessert). Please be aware that 1st Week and 8th Week dinners are very busy and are often fully booked. Dates for 2023/24 are available as a pdf download here.

The charge for a Guest Night dinner is £42.50 per person and a Special Guest Night is £49.00 per person. The charges stated are subject to change and are inclusive of VAT. There is a limit of 3 alumni and their guests (or 6 alumni without guests) per Guest Night.

Alumni dining at High Table should have an SCR Host; the Development Team will link alumni to an appropriate host.

If you would like to book, please contact the Development Team, with at least one month’s notice, on 01865 274362 or email development@lmh.ox.ac.uk

LMH Chapel
Can I get married at LMH?

Past and present members of the LMH community are welcome to enquire about the possibility of having their wedding service in the Chapel. Depending on the Chaplain’s schedule and other events taking place in college, the Chapel is available during most of the year for this purpose, with the exception of the late summer and Christmas season. There are a number of legal formalities to address before any firm arrangements can be made for the wedding itself. It is advisable to start the planning process between nine and twelve months in advance of the proposed date of the service. For further information, please contact the Chaplain at chaplain@lmh.ox.ac.uk.

Can I use LMH’s library?

Space and resources in the college’s library are at a premium during term time, so unfortunately it is not practical to offer desk space or access to the library to our alumni during term, except to consult specific items not held by the central Bodleian Libraries. Alumni are welcome to contact the Librarian at librarian@lmh.ox.ac.uk to ask to use the library during vacations, whilst the library is staffed. You can apply for free admission to the Bodleian Libraries by going to www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/using/getting-a-readers-card. You can also get access to a wide range of journals online by going to www.alumni.ox.ac.uk/journals.
