Hi there, my name is Elly and I’m a third-year reading History. 

What I love most about LMH is the vibrant and supportive community between students, faculty, alumni, and prospective students. You can ask me about History Society, access and outreach events, and writing for student newspapers. I’m looking forward to meeting new people during this campaign!

Hi, my name is Josh and I’m a 4th-year studying Maths.

For the last two years, I’ve been a choral scholar at LMH and have loved the welcoming environment of the College and its societies. Through this, I’ve been able to participate in tours to Spain, France and Austria and access opportunities I’d never thought possible before university. As well as this, I also take part in student drama and spent a year as the JCR Welfare Officer. I’ve had a great three years at LMH so far and I’m looking forward to one more!

Hi, my name is Eve and I’ve just graduated after an amazing three years at LMH, having studied Music.

I’ve loved being part of LMH’s rowing and choir communities during my time here, and being a Student Ambassador has been a real highlight—I’ve enjoyed meeting prospective students and sharing what makes LMH special. For the Telephone Campaign, I’m really looking forward to hearing the amazing stories and experiences our alumni have had in College over the years. I enjoy spending time in LMH’s gardens, getting involved with the JCR and climbing. I’m excited to learn about alumni’s experiences of our College through the Telethon campaign.

Hi! My name is Will and I’m a first-year studying Experimental Psychology.

As an international student from Italy, I really enjoy LMH’s close-knit community, which has warmly welcomed me and many other international students into the College. This experience inspired me to become involved in many activities at the College, including organising the incoming Freshers’ Week as one of the Freshers’ Representatives of our JCR body. During my free time, you will often find me walking around the beautiful LMH gardens or spending time with friends at the lovely JCR. I look forward to discussing fun experiences with LMH alumni, and I’m especially interested in learning about past LMH experiences and life in Oxford in general. Ask me about Oxford societies, a funny College experience and Freshers’ Week.

Hi, my name is Bertie and I'm a second-year undergraduate studying Classics and French.

One thing I love about LMH is the gardens, especially in summer, as they become a great social place for people from all over the uni to socialise in. During my first year, I joined the Trading Card Game (TCG) Society, which I have really enjoyed as a fun and welcoming community and as a place to meet people from across different colleges. I also really loved going to different college/society balls last Trinity term. It felt like a uniquely Oxford experience, which I was more than happy to help organise.

Hello! I'm Annabel, a Music student going into second year. As a Yorkshire lass and nature enthusiast, I love the biodiverse gardens at LMH!

My first year has been full of music: playing trombone in a funk band, singing at Somerville College and conducting the University Brass Band. In College, my favourite places are the LMH studios, the rooms with Steinway pianos and the beanbags downstairs in the library. I am really looking forward to chatting with you about wildlife, music and being a student at LMH! It will be really interesting to compare our College experiences.
