MCR

The Middle Common Room at LMH is made up of the approximately 170 graduate students, including the approximately 100 new students admitted each year.  It is a diverse group from around 40 different countries studying a wide range of subjects.  All graduates are automatically members of the MCR.

An elected committe runs the MCR and organises social events, inside and outside of College, throughout the year.

MCR members have their own comfortable common room with large sofas where members can relax, chat with fellow graduate students, read and watch television.  Next to the common room is a well equipped kitchen and close by are laundry rooms and a small gym.

The common room is equipped with:

• A flat screen television with Freeview, a DVD player, a Play Station, and an extensive DVD and games library;
• Weekday subscriptions to The Times and The Guardian;
• A subscription to The Economist;
• A (non-academic) book library;
• A brand new table football table, board games, a croquet set, tennis and squash rackets, a football, and other sport equipment;
• An excellent coffee machine;
• Tea and biscuits;
• Wireless internet;
• A computer

The MCR has its own computer room in College.  The MCR also maintains its own website.  (Please note that LMH is not responsible for its contents.)
