Our academic community

Our tutors are experienced teachers as well as being leaders in their research fields, whether it is quantum physics, Muslim Spain, torture and confessions in literature or the status of refugees. They help shape a dynamic community that prides itself on educational and academic excellence.

Associated Institutes

Lady Margaret Hall is pleased to work with the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), the first university-based conservation research unit in Europe. Professor David Macdonald, WildCRU’s Founding Director is a Fellow of LMH. We are also associated with the International Gender Studies Centre (IGS). Dr Maria Jaschok, Director of IGS, is a Research Fellow at LMH.
