Students can print an exemption certificate themselves via the University Student Self Service registration system. All students should log on at the beginning of the academic year to confirm their presence on course, and check/update personal and contact details. Once you have completed the registration process, an "Enrolment Certificate" will be available to print and take to the Council Offices on St. Aldate's (make sure you take your University Card with you). If you wish to post the certificate to the Council, you will need to have it stamped by the College; please call in to the Academic Administrator’s Office for assistance. Further advice on registration and exemption certificates can be found in the Oxford University's Registration Guide. The City Council website provides more information on Council Tax liability.
Please email your request to the Academic Administrator indicating the name and address of your bank.
If you need a new University Card, please complete the order form online. A new leaving date is required for expired cards. You will need to pay the £10 replacement fee using a credit or debit card via the University Online Store. You will be informed when your new card has been issued by the University Card Office. You will need to collect it in person from the Academic Administrator’s office. Once a card is reported as lost, the barcode will be stopped and changed. Should the original card be found, it will no longer be useable. See the University Card website for details.
See information on 'Booking your degree ceremony' page. Please download a booking form and send it with all relevant fees to Maya Evans in the Development Office.
If you require confirmation of your degree and/or dates of attendance for employers, prospective employers and educational institutions, please contact the Degree Conferrals Office - University of Oxford Degree Verification.
