J.R.R. Tolkien Professor in English Literature and Language Marion Turner delivered this year's Online Wordsworth Lecture on Sunday 24 March on the topic of 'Chaucer: Here and Now'.

Professor Turner drew inspiration from her recent Bodleian exhibition, 'Chaucer: Here and Now', which runs until 28 April at Oxford's Weston Library. She explored the many varied responses to Chaucer over the centuries - from folios to films, anonymous scribes to Zadie Smith, Caxton to the Cachoeira Tales. Professor Turner charted how perceptions of Chaucer and his works have changed and highlighted the ways in which his work remains relevant to today's audiences.
