The LMH Chapel Choir enjoyed a very successful tour to Brittany over the summer, performing the Vivaldi ‘Gloria’, and Haydn’s ‘Little Organ Mass’ along with several other shorter pieces in three local churches and in Vannes Cathedral. The concerts were well attended, and the Choir were delighted to receive complements and support from the locals.

The tour was also a great opportunity for the Choir to bond, and they spent a lot of time rehearsing together, leading to a significant improvement performance quality over the course of the tour. There was time for some fun amidst the rehearsals and performances, with the Choir enjoying several trips to the beach, and a day out on the island of Houat where they busked in the town square in front of an audience of around 40 people.

The tour was a great success, and the Choir is already beginning to consider plans for next summer. Before that though, the whole Choir is looking forward to a successful and enjoyable year to come.
