LMH alumna Sharifah Alhinai (2019, Msc Migration Studies) has received recognition in the ‘Entertainment’ category of Forbes Middle East's prestigious 30 Under 30 list. The list spotlights exceptional young innovators under the age of 30 who are making a significant impact across various sectors, from technology to entertainment, and beyond.

Sharifah is recognised for her work as the co-founder of Sekka and the Khaleeji Art Museum, a forward-thinking digital museum which seeks to provide a virtual stage to highlight the work of artists from and based in the Arab Gulf States. Launched in 2020, the Khaleeji Art Museum amplifies the voices of artists, and makes them more visible to a global audience through digital exhibitions and immersive events.

The museum has exhibited the work of over 100 artists and collaborated with the cultural advisor to the UAE’s President, Zaki Nusseibeh, to showcase works from his art collection, including Picasso, Salvador Dali, Sliman Mansour, and Hassan Sharif.

Sharifah says: “I'm honoured to receive this recognition from Forbes, and it is a source of immense joy for me to share this acknowledgment with brilliant, inspiring young women and men from my cherished region. I consider this recognition a stepping stone for future achievements that I look forward to presenting to my family, my greatest treasure.”
