The Oxford Study Skills Centre at LMH aims to promote achievement and academic success by helping students to develop effective approaches to learning, no matter what their background. Face to face or online individual sessions cover topics including time management strategies, revision and exam preparation techniques, essay writing, effective note-taking, and problem-solving techniques for the maths and sciences. Any LMH student can book a session with any of our tutors on our Canvas site.

Support the OSSC

The Oxford Study Skills Centre was established in 2018 with the kind support of two generous alumni. Since then, dozens of alumni and friends have contributed financially to its continued survival and success. The next ambition is to fund raise to endow study skills for the future.

Why is this important? OSSC aims to promote achievement and academic success by helping students to develop effective approaches to learning, no matter what their background. Sessions cover topics including time management strategies, revision and exam preparation techniques, essay writing, effective note-taking, and problem-solving techniques for the maths and sciences.
