MA Ceremony

As you may know, if you read for a BA or BFA, this means you are now eligible to receive your Oxford MA. Alumni who took undergraduate Masters (MChem, MPhys, MEng, etc.) are not eligible to receive an MA but are, of course, very welcome to join in with the reunion and sit in on the ceremony, as are those who would simply prefer not to receive an MA.

You may have already received your MA back in 2020, when arrangements had been in place pre-pandemic for this event. If you have, it doesn't affect you being able to participate in the new arrangements for this event. If you already have your MA, you can still take part in the LMH ceremony and simply need to drop me a reply by return email to let me know you don't need your certificate, but would like to take part in the ceremony at LMH.

If you haven't already got your MA and would like to receive it in time for this event, you will be put forward In Absentia at a University degree ceremony on 5th November, and will be presented with your certificate at a celebratory ceremony in College on the 19th November.

If you haven't already received your MA, please fill out this form by midday on Sunday 4th September. This is the deadline to be put forward to the University for the In Absentia ceremony so you must fill out your details by this date in order to be awarded your MA.

Please note that the University charge a conferral fee of £40 for your MA. I will send you the payment link for the fee after the initial booking deadline has passed.

Dinner

A three-course dinner will be served in Hall following the ceremony and drinks reception. If you do not wish to receive the MA or attend the ceremony, we still encourage you to attend the reunion dinner!

The dinner costs £38 and your place can be booked through the website. You are welcome to bring a guest to the reunion.
