The Housekeeping Service

Are you looking for work this summer? Would you like to get work experience in one of the 39 Oxford Colleges? If so, we are looking for hardworking Casual Scouts (Cleaners) to help our Housekeeping Team during its busy Conference Season.  Successful candidates will be offered up to 35 hours work a week from 1 June to 30 September, including weekends, to provide a high quality, efficient housekeeping service, cleaning bedrooms, corridors, bathrooms, office areas and meeting rooms. 

The work involves making beds, deep cleaning rooms and some moving of furniture.

Staff are provided with a meal for each day worked, when the kitchens are open.

Terms and Conditions

Hours of work are up to 35 per week, working 5 days out of 7, mainly in the morning.

The hourly rate is £11.35 per hour plus rolled up holiday pay of £1.37 per hour. 

Other benefits include a complimentary meal for each day work, when the kitchens are open.
