The Daisy Circle, a sanctuary for PPEists, celebrates our differences as we regularly come together to discuss and debate the most salient issues of the day. Either that, or we're merely seeking welcome company and respite from those long slogs in the library. The name commemorates Daisy, a much loved Cairn Terrier who died in 2010 and was herself named after the flower, an LMH emblem.
Although primarily geared to the subjects associated with PPE, the Daisy Circle intends to be of interest to a much broader audience in College and to stimulate discussion of topics beyond the syllabus. It has held meetings on a number of topics including the financial crash, the 2015 General Election, and our post-Brexit future.
