The catalogue
The Oxford library search and discovery system, SOLO (Search Oxford Libraries Online), is a computerised union catalogue which will give you information about the holdings of all the libraries in Oxford, as well as cross-searching some journals and databases. (More detailed searches of databases may be done via OXLIP+).
SOLO can be accessed remotely, and on all the library computers downstairs. Leaflets are available explaining how to use both SOLO, & OXLIP+.
Location Codes
When an LMH Library book is identified via SOLO, it will have the location code LMH and (usually) the sublocation LMH Main Library.
Other sublocations (such as Briggs Room) indicate locations for our rare books collections; please ask Library staff if you wish to consult them.
