Dame Vivien Duffield is Chair of the Clore Duffield Foundation, a grant making organisation that concentrates mainly on education, the arts, and Jewish life.
In 2007 Dame Vivien was named Chair of the Campaign for Oxford, which she describes as 'the ultimate challenge'. In October 2009, Dame Vivien and the Clore Duffield Foundation gave a donation of £5.1m to the Campaign, bringing the Campaign total to the sum of £770m. The £5.1m included a gift of £1.75m to support the building of a new Graduate Centre at LMH.
Dame Vivien matriculated at LMH and read Modern Languages. She was elected to an Honorary Fellowship in 1991.
