Engraved Gems and the Classical Tradition exhibition curated by Dr Claudia Wagner, LMH lecturer in Classical Archaeology Christ Church Upper Library, 16 January – 3 May 2013 The exhibition is the result of a unique collaboration of the Christ Church Library with the Beazley Archive. It takes the opportunity to display gem impressions and casts from Oxford’s Beazley Archive, as well as beautiful intaglios and cameos from private collections, alongside some of the treasures of the book-collection of Christ Church Library.
