On Saturday 31st October we held our annual Freshers’ Family Day.  More than 200 joined us for the event which allows family members of new undergraduates to visit the College and learn a little more about its history, and enabling them to appreciate more fully the student experience of LMH and Oxford both past and present. 

The event began with coffee and a chance to view an exhibition from the archives together with materials from the College’s numerous building projects.  After a welcome from the Principal and an introduction from the Development Director, freshers and their families were given an extensive tour of the LMH site which incorporated the College’s buildings and social history from its foundation.  Groups were taken around the gardens, into some of the College’s most elegant reception rooms and were given a preview of the new undergraduate building as its construction draws to a close.  Before lunch in Hall, student musicians kindly gave a short concert in the Chapel.
