‘Moving Pictures’ is an exhibition of video installations by Judith Albert along with poetry by Viennese poet Michael Donhauser. To each of Albert's five video installations Donhauser has composed poetic reflections which will be read during the opening event by the author (in German) and by Professor Karen Leeder from Oxford (in English). Donhauser and Leeder will also read some of Donhauser's recent poetry, translated by Iain Galbraith. Professor Angelika Krebs, head of the Philosophical Institute of the University of Basel, will introduce the two artists forming a philosophical shell around their works. This is the first exhibition of the work of Judith Albert in the UK. The Exhibition Opening is open to the general public and takes place on Friday 27 January, 5.15 pm -6.15 pm.
