Simpkins Lee Lecture Theatre

Our new raked lecture theatre can seat 160 people and includes a projection room and integral AV system. It is located in our newest building which also contains 64 en-suite bedrooms, a dining room/meeting rooms/a reception space and a common room/refreshment area.

 

Talbot Hall

Talbot Hall, built in 1910 and for many years used as the College dining hall, is the ideal room for lectures.  It comfortably seats 130 theatre style and is equipped with a ceiling mounted data projector, electronically controlled projection screen, lectern for laptop and speaker notes, DVD and video player, PA system, wireless Ethernet access, and induction loop system.

The room provides very flexible accommodation and can be laid out in a variety of styles.


Old Library

This elegant room, designed as the College's library in 1910, is now used mainly for receptions (up to 100 guests).  It can also be arranged for lectures, meetings or classes and provides a more intimate atmosphere than Talbot Hall.  A portable data projector is available for this and other function rooms in the College.


Mary O’Brien Room

Ideal as a common room or for smaller meetings, classes or lectures, the Mary O’Brien Room is a few steps from Talbot Hall and right next to the range of vending machines and ATM.

Jerwood Room

Designed as an exhibition space, the Jerwood Room can accommodate larger board meetings, lectures or classes.  The tables can be moved or rearranged.  The Jerwood Room is also ideal for buffets or formal dinners with up to 40 guests.

Talbot Seminar 1

Next to Talbot Hall and overlooking the gardens, this is a charming boardroom or larger breakout room.

Like Talbot Seminar 1, this room is next to Talbot Hall and overlooks the gardens.  Because it does not have a fixed table it can be flexibly arranged.

Committee Room

Wide, full length windows mean you can step from this beautiful room onto the garden terrace. Also available for intimate dinners (up to 18 guests), it is the perfect venue for board meetings and seminars.

Lodge Seminar Room and Lodge Coaching Room

These two functional classrooms on the ground floor provide further teaching or meeting space.  Wireless Ethernet access is available in both rooms.


Breakout rooms

In addition to the rooms listed above, the College can provide smaller breakout rooms as required.
